De verhoudingstabel afmaken

Uw kind leerde vandaag een verhoudingstabel afmaken, ook met een gat in de bovenste rij. Kost 1 tas 30 euro, dan kosten 3 tassen 30 × 3 = 90 euro: de rekenstap van boven (× 3) doet het kind ook onder.

  • Laat uw kind vertellen. U luistert en vraagt door.
  • Vraag, maar zeg het antwoord niet voor. Ook niet als u het weet.
  • Prijs de aanpak, niet alleen het antwoord.
  1. Lees de tabel: wat staat er boven en wat staat er onder?

  2. Zoek de rekenstap: met welke keersom of deelsom kom je van het ene getal naar het andere?

Samen oefenen aan tafel

  1. 1 kaartje kost 7 euro. Hoeveel kosten 4 kaartjes? En 8 kaartjes?Vraag: teken een tabel. Wat doe je boven? Wat doe je dan onder?
  2. In 1 zak zitten 12 knikkers. Hoeveel zakken heb je nodig voor 60 knikkers?Vraag: in welke rij zie je de rekenstap? Doe hem ook in de andere rij.
  3. In 2 dozen zitten 14 potloden. Hoeveel potloden zitten er in 6 dozen? En hoeveel dozen heb je voor 56 potloden?Vraag: begin bij het vakje dat je al kunt uitrekenen.
  4. Uit het dagelijks leven: bij de bakker kosten 3 broodjes € 4. Hoeveel broodjes krijg je voor € 20?Vraag: in welke rij weet je twee getallen? Wat is daar de rekenstap?

Hoe ging het?

Tip van de juf

  • Dé fout van vandaag: boven en onder hetzelfde getal erbij doen (boven + 2, dus onder ook + 2). De rekenstap is keer of delen. Vraag: 'Twee keer zoveel kaartjes, dus toch twee keer zoveel geld?'
  • Laat uw kind de bogen tekenen en de rekenstap (× 3, : 2) erbij schrijven, vóór het een getal invult.
  • Bij verhaaltjes gebruikt de klas altijd het 5-stappenplan: lees 2 keer · wat weet ik, wat is de vraag? · schrijf de som op · reken uit · controleer + eenheid. Hier is 'reken uit' de verhoudingstabel.
Antwoorden voor de ouder: 1: 28 euro en 56 euro · 2: 5 zakken · 3: 42 potloden (2 → 6 is × 3) en 8 dozen (14 → 56 is × 4) · 4: 15 broodjes (4 → 20 is × 5).

Completing the ratio table (verhoudingstabel)

How you coach: the school's plan 'The verhoudingstabel'

Today your child learned to complete a ratio table (verhoudingstabel), also with a gap in the top row. If 1 bag costs 30 euros, then 3 bags cost 30 × 3 = 90 euros: your child also does the rekenstap (calculation step) from the top (× 3) at the bottom.

  • Let your child explain. You listen and ask more.
  • Ask, but do not give the answer. Not even if you know it.
  • Praise the method, not just the answer.
  1. Read the table: what is at the top and what is at the bottom?

  2. Find the calculation step (rekenstap): with which times sum or division sum do you get from one number to the other?

Practise together at the table

  1. 1 ticket costs 7 euros. How much do 4 tickets cost? And 8 tickets?Ask: draw a table. What do you do at the top? What do you do at the bottom then?
  2. There are 12 marbles in 1 bag. How many bags do you need for 60 marbles?Ask: in which row do you see the rekenstap? Do it in the other row too.
  3. There are 14 pencils in 2 boxes. How many pencils are there in 6 boxes? And how many boxes do you need for 56 pencils?Ask: start with the box you can already work out.
  4. From daily life: at the baker's, 3 rolls cost € 4. How many rolls do you get for € 20?Ask: in which row do you know two numbers? What is the rekenstap there?

How did it go?

Tip from the teacher

  • The typical mistake: adding the same number at the top and the bottom (top + 2, so bottom + 2 as well). The rekenstap is times or divided by (:). Ask: 'Twice as many tickets, so surely twice as much money?'
  • Let your child draw the arcs and write the rekenstap next to them (× 3, : 2) before filling in a number.
  • For story sums the class always uses the 5-step plan (5-stappenplan): read it 2 times · what do I know, what is the question? · write down the sum · work it out · check + unit. Here 'work it out' is the verhoudingstabel.
