Zo coacht u: categorieën en werkwoordstijden herhalen

Week 4 is de herhalingsweek van blok 5. Uw kind koos een doel voor de week: de categorie die nog vaak fout gaat. Vandaag herhaalde uw kind categorieën en zei bij een werkwoord of het in de verleden of de voltooide tijd staat en maakte er de andere tijd van.

  • Laat uw kind vertellen. U luistert en vraagt door.
  • Vraag, maar zeg het antwoord niet voor. Ook niet als u het weet.
  • Prijs de aanpak, niet alleen het antwoord.
  1. Kies de categorie die nog lastig is en zeg de regel erbij.
    VraagWelke categorie vind je nog lastig? Wat is de regel?
  2. Werkwoord: zeg in welke tijd het staat (verleden of voltooide tijd) en maak er de andere tijd van. Zeg de werkwoordregel erbij.

  3. Dictee: zeg het woord na, denk aan de categorie(ën) en de regel(s) en schrijf het op. Een samenstelling krijgt een sterretje.

  4. Kijk na en zeg bij elk woord: wat is de categorie en wat is de regel?

Samen oefenen aan tafel

  1. Lees elk woord één keer voor; uw kind zegt het na en schrijft het op: het toernooitje · de prothese · de Antilliaan · de felicitatie.Vraag: welke categorie(ën) zitten erin? Wat is de regel?
  2. Lees voor en vraag in welke tijd het staat; uw kind maakt er de andere tijd van: zij blies · hij heeft gekropen · wij zongen · ik heb gesproken.Vraag: is er een hulpwerkwoord (heb, heeft, ben, is)?
  3. U noemt een categorie (verkleinwoord · colawoord · centwoord); uw kind noemt er een woord bij en zegt de regel.Vraag: hoe controleer je het woord?
  4. Doel van de week: kies samen één categorie die uw kind deze week goed wil schrijven en bedenk er drie woorden bij.Vraag: wat is de regel van deze categorie?

  • De voltooide tijd heeft een hulpwerkwoord (heb, heeft, ben, is) en een voltooid deelwoord.
  • Praat niet in categorienummers, maar in categorienamen en regels: dat doet de juf ook.

How you coach: revising categories and verb tenses

Week 4 is the revision week of block 5. Your child chose a goal for the week: the category that still often goes wrong. Today your child revised categories, said whether a verb is in the past or the perfect tense and changed it into the other tense.

  • Let your child explain. You listen and ask more.
  • Ask, but do not give the answer. Not even if you know it.
  • Praise the method, not just the answer.
  1. Choose the category that is still difficult and say the rule.
    AskWhich category do you still find difficult? What is the rule?
  2. Verb: say which tense it is in (past or perfect tense) and change it into the other tense. Say the verb rule too.
    AskWhich tense is this verb in? What is the other tense?
  3. Dictation: say the word back, think of the category or categories and the rule(s), and write it down. A samenstelling (compound word) gets a star.

  4. Check and say for each word: what is the category and what is the rule?

Practise together at the table

  • The perfect tense has a hulpwerkwoord (auxiliary verb: heb, heeft, ben, is) and a voltooid deelwoord (past participle).
  • Do not talk in category numbers, but in category names and rules: the teacher does that too.
